Hi folks, I am not sure if anyone will actually read this or not before the next meeting, but.... here goes.

I have been talking with Bruce and other executive members. Over the Christmas break I did a one night backpack trip to McCrae Lake with my eldest son and his buddy. It was awesome. I offered to guide a hike up there on Saturday the 20th of Jan. This is the Sat right after our meeting on the 16th. My offer has been tentatively well received.

We would look to leave the Wasaga Beach IGA at 8:00 am and return around 4:30 pm.

As long as the weather holds and we do not get much snow it should be an awesome day to go for a hike and take some pictures.

More info will be presented at the meeting on the 16th.

See you there (Tuesday and Saturday)

Hi Folks - Bruce and I just spoke - based on the forecast for tonight and tomorrow until late afternoon being snowsqualls and heavy flurries with reduced visibility - we have decided to postpone the outing to McCrae Lake unti Saturday the 3rd of February.

Because the trail in is an active OFSC snowmobile trail we may have to shift the outing to another location, and visit McCrae once the sledding season winds down.

Again - the outing for Saturday the 20th ispostponed to Saturday the 3rd of February.
